About Me & Maizon
Hi, I’m Patrick Moysons, founder and owner of Maizon.
I’ve been in business for quite some time — my entrepreneurial journey started back in 1994, when I launched a company that specialized in wholesale confectionery across Belgium, the Netherlands and France. After over a decade of growth, I sold that company in 2005.
Around the year 2000, I got into packaging design and production, working closely with a factory in China. That business ran for 15 years and was eventually sold in 2015. Shortly after, I spent about a year and a half as a buyer for Neuhaus, one of Belgium’s most iconic chocolate brands. During my time there, I helped streamline a lot of their sourcing directly from China.
Fast-forward to today: the entrepreneurial itch never really left. Ten years later, I felt it was time to start creating again — this time with a fresh take on a classic concept: house-shaped tin boxes. These tins have been around for decades, but they hadn’t really evolved. I saw the opportunity to reimagine them with a more modern and creative twist.
From the start, several of my old clients were excited to jump back on board — and that’s how Maizon was born.
What We Do
Maizon is all about small to medium production runs of tin boxes — typically between 1,000 and 10,000 pieces. It’s a niche market, and that’s exactly where we shine. I work closely with each customer to imagine, design, and produce their custom packaging — all in collaboration with a trusted partner factory in China I’ve worked with for years.
More recently, that same factory asked me to become their official agent for larger volumes in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and Luxembourg. That means we can also serve larger clients who produce over 10,000 units — with direct access to the factory and all the advantages that come with it.
It’s the best of both worlds: full creative support and personal service for smaller businesses, and direct sourcing with less financial risk for bigger ones.

Our Mission & Vision
At Maizon, our goal is simple: to deliver exceptional tin packaging — not only in terms of quality and craftsmanship, but also in the way we think, design, and support our clients.
We believe that a tin is more than just packaging — it’s a brand ambassador, a conversation starter, and a lasting impression. That’s why we approach every project with a clear focus on perfection, both in execution and detail. From concept to production, we aim for nothing less than premium results.
But we also believe in creative freedom. Our process is built around collaboration and imagination — allowing us to rethink shapes, play with visuals, and create something unique every time.
We don’t just make tins.
We help our clients develop better products, create stronger packaging stories, and ultimately sell more.
Whether it’s a small production run for a boutique shop or a large-scale launch for a global brand, we see ourselves as partners in the journey — offering insight, flexibility, and a deep understanding of what makes a product truly stand out.
